I have a new short story on the way. It is scheduled to appear in the summer issue of EXIT 271, an online journal.
Samuel’s Wife, a short story set in the late 19th century on a farm in Arabi Georgia, sibilates with tension. Written with elements of magical realism, the story opens with a flame of resentment licking around the edges of two women from opposite backgrounds, their only connection a man.
Look for Samuel’s Wife in the summer issue of EXIT 271: Your Georgia Writers Resource. I’ll post a reminder when it is published.
